About Aux Choux

Aux Choux is the creation of chocolatier Crystal Thomas. Started in early 2008, Aux Choux has already garnered a loyal local following for its fine desserts and distinct coffees and teas. In addition, the dessert bar has established relationships with several Nashville-based eateries, and Thomas’ various cheesecake creations are purchased in wholesale by many respected area restaurants.

Thomas, who learned the art of cooking from her grandmother and mother, brings a French flair to all of her concupiscent creations. Thomas’ mother lived in France for a time, and she taught her daughter the intricacies of French “choux” pastries. Thomas applied that knowledge to various other businesses (including more recently The Cocoa Tree), before she decided to start her own café.

All desserts are made fresh daily and placed in the display case near the front door. For those who want a refreshing (and decidedly rich) dessert experience, Aux Choux beckons. Eat in, carry out or enjoy the sidewalk seating on nice afternoons and clear evenings.
